I think Snow will regret not going hard for Bernier

You don't want Miller... He's a cry baby ... and has attitude issues. we need to somehow pry Andersen from Ducks... He is the real deal ...

Id rather Hiller, as a medium term option allowing us to develope someone from our system.

Sure, maybe 5 years ago. He has been nothing but a true professional for quite along time.

I agree. For a supposed 'cry baby' and someone known to be vocal, he hasn't been making a big stink about the abysmal season the Sabres are having. I can respect that.

I've been saying that since last year. He was the one we should have targeted. Of course we would have had to overpay as we did not have what the Kings were looking for.

Whatever. After this year, there's zero chance Miller wants any part of NYI.

Found some Ville Pocka stuff online:

http://prospects.dobbersports.com/in...25-ville-pokka

This was older but interesting to read in retrospect:

http://thehockeywriters.com/ville-po...spect-profile/

The quote about being one of the best first passers in the draft is interesting given what our system is.

Maybe if the US World Junior Team had selected Cammarata and Bischoff, they'd still be playing, just sayin'.

Cammarata is pretty much a shoo-in for next year, right?

I think it will depend on if his play merits an invitation. I thought he was having a pretty good freshman season, thought they could use his offense during THIS tournament. Hopefully he gets there next year.

Ouch, tough night for Minnesota, I hear Colgate vs Minnesota and I was thinking a huge Minnesota win. Boy was I wrong.

Scott if you watched, you would have called Cammarata every name in the book, did not play well to be kind.

That 3rd round is gonna haunt me, Macadam instead of Buchnevich and Cammarata instead of Duclair (32 goals in 38 games !!), Yakimov, Slepyshev and Bjorkstrand (28 goals in 37 games, from Frans Nielsen's hometown) could really come back to haunt us. Rangers wound up with Buchnevich AND Duclair in the 3rd round, dammit !! Islanders scouting and GM really need to learn how to draft in the 3rd and 4th rounds, some gems there. Stephon friggin Williams instead of Hudson Fasching in the 4th round is inexcusable.

I still have hope for Cammarata (you have to have hope), he does have impressive offensive skills, but man the guys we left on the board, geez.

Scott, I hate to say this, for the most part haven't been overly impressed with Cammarata and most of Minnesota's games on on TV. Not that my word is the gospel but I just haven't been too excited with his play.

And on the other hand, itīs very hard not to see a future NHLer in Hudson Fasching. Watched him only in this tournament, no college games for me, but the kid looked terrific...

Rex, I respect your insight on our prospects. Cammarata might have been a HUGE mistake (pardon my pun), as was the whole 3rd and 4th round picks by the Isles. Add in we picked Pulock instead of Mantha and Zadorov, and this draft may come back to haunt us. Too early to worry about it yet, I have high hopes for Pulock, and will give Cammarata a chance. If we are talking about him not playing well and NOT making the US team at the WJC's next year, then I will say that was a terrible pick.

Completely agree kuwo,if you watched Minnesota's games you would draw the same conclusion as in the World Junior.

One thing for sure, in addition to being small, kind of wish Cammarata was a better skater, like I say hope to be wrong but just haven't been overly impressed.
