Back Up : Dykhuis, Dackell, Dagenais
Injured: Koivu, Kilger...
An experiment I'd like to see is Quintal playing on the Fourth line with Hainsey making the team...Quintal Could take the odd D shift, but his size and toughness could be used on our 4th line...also It would be a good insurance move in case one of our D go down during the game!!!
I'd say that will be pretty close. I think Juneau will be on the third line and Higgs fourth though and once Kilger gets back Higgins will be in Hamilton. Also switch Ryder and Ward.

Quintal is much too slow to play forward. There's no need for insurance for d men as they can easily play with 5 if needed.
Higgs won't be playing for us on the 4th line forget about that, unless it's just for a couple of games waiting for our injured players to come back and then he heads back to Hamilton.
Playing an offensive minded player for 8 min. a game in his 1st pro year out of College would seriously hinder his progression. Much better if he starts with top-2 line ice time in the AHL.

Speaking of Higgins, I just can't understand how come he still has guys like Dwyer and Blouin for linemates. Sure, he's not close to being ready for a first or second line player role, but how could one tell if he's progressing or not if he's playing with a bunch of grinders for linemates?
We have been able to see he is a very intelligent player in his own zone, but don't expect any offensive contribution from Chris as long as he's playing with those goons.By the way, I'm with you on this. Chris definatly needs to play in the AHL for a while (hopefully not in a grinder role).
I dont think Audette will stay long in the second or 1st line.. this guy is clearly at the end of his career, he wont produce this year.. he seem to be struggling even at preseason and he said himself that his injury will never heal at 100% and it affects his play a little bit (wich shows he lacks confidence, wich isnt good, AT ALL).
Wont be too long before a youngster take away is spot. what a waste of money.
Bulis Koivu Audette (downhill)
Hossa Ribeiro Zednik
Sundstrom Perreault Ward (on the rise)
Kilger Juneau (downhill) Ryder (on the rise)
Rivet Markov
Brisebois Souray
Quintal Komisarek
(downhill) = should eventually go down in the lines
(on the rise) = should play in the higher line this season

Hey
Couldnt agree with you more on that point. I was at the Habs/Bruins game, and Audette consistently played soft. He was weak on the puck, and he would get rid of the puck if even the slightest pressure was on him. I hope for the best and a huge turn around in play, but I doubt that will happen. They need to get rid of this guy as soon as possible.

I think you're bang on. Just one thing : I wouldn't be too suprised to see a fourth line like this Dwyer Kilger Ryder.
Juneau and dackell could be healthy scratch. Maybe not for the first game because i don't think Kilger will be there, but say maybe from game 10 and on
The obvious weak link is on the 3rd line, whenever you have Perreault and Audette on the same line, your just asking for trouble, that's why I put Sundstrom there, and as for Ryder on the 1st line, I put him there not cause I think he has 1st line talent, I put him there because his talent level would be a good match with Koivu and Bulis, he could complement this line very well as i'm expecting Bulis to have a good year, we need to surround Koivu with more size, as long as I can remember he's always had a small winger with him (Bure, Recchi, Audette) that could explain his injuries over the past few years.
I thinkone potential problem we have is the 4 right handed defenceman, who's going to be more apt to playing his offside?
