And Briere? Come on Therrien.
Gallagher scored some big shootout goals last year IIRC.

But this second shootout loss illustrates that the boys are not great 4 on 4. Win the damn game in OT, and SO becomes moot.

Seems like a good job profile for Desharnais The team could have used his shootout skills

Enough of Diaz or Bouillon already. This team won't go far with these two in the lineup. The defense has been a problem all season long.

Hard to judge, since we played most of OT shorthanded.

The funny thing is, DD is good at shootouts and the only games he hasn't been in the lineup both games went to a shootout

Too many holes, veterans simply not delivering. I also believe that MT gets out coached quite often.

Habs deserved to lose

Only problem is that Briere would not have scored that goal or DD screws something up while playing on the 4th line.

Refs denying Gudas that goal certainly helped us. I'll take the point.

Meanwhile you can see him changing his game. I don't think it's for the better, but I could be wrong. I guess he needs to try to outplay Bouillon somehow with Therrien judging. Bouillon plays hard but he doesn't play well and he's not low risk. Subban is not high risk at his wildest and he seems to be really toning down his game but he still doesn't play at key moments.

No one looks to be having fun out there. Bouillon and other undeserving favorites have got to be embarrassed, and the other guys have got to be peeved.

Should I just ignore every one who says Galchenyuk and Price suck in shootouts? Like seriously, get a ****ing clue guys. Price lets in 1 goal per both shootouts and yet he sucks in them... ok. Let's not forget the fact that both goals on him were elite finishes by great shootout players..

Also Galchenyuk, Eller, Subban, Markov are the pool you pick from. Galchenyuk has hands and he has creativity. He's always going first and I think it's time you take him out of that role and put him in 2nd or 3rd to take some pressure off the 19 year old kid.

And yes, as I tell my players when we face the 6'7 guy in our league. Five hole is the area of weakness.

Can't really think of anyone who really stood out outside Price tonight...
PK did generate a lot of shots and some nice offensive play but no one to support him

He said that PK playing 28min, leading our team with 8 shots, 4 attempts blocked, 3 blocked shots, 1 hit, just wasn't good enough. That he wasn't impressed, it was a ''meh'' or ''blah'' performance.

Yeah, Subban was getting chance after chance (had 5/8 shots in 1st) but there was no traffic in front of the net until the 3rd, so it didn't really do much.

Lol what a goof. Maybe if there was traffic in front of the net when Subban was getting off all his shots, he would have had a few points.

But he's a defenceman!

I find that Therrien makes shootout/personnel decisions like he's baking cookies with his grandma.
