sorry jonesy, but "expidentially" is not the word you were looking for.

actually, I'm not even sure it's a word at all...

Couts has the JVR syndrome. When he learns to keep his feet moving he will be able to go around guys. Far too often he stops his stride when trying to move around someone.

Great to see Giroux actually committed to playing defense again. It's been a long time since I've seen this from him.

Timonen has also been starting to look better in the last few games.

Solid period. I can't see us shutting these out though, so more to come.

Weird goal. Aside from that play I thought both Simmonds and Schenn we're awful, but then BOOM.

Coburn got burned hard on the first play, but luckily the goal was waived off

The team looked really bad the first few minutes but started to play their game after a few minutes. Great goal by Schenn thanks to some hard work by Simmonds.

Emery is making the stops he needs to so far which is good to see.

Let's hope we dont spend all game in the penalty box and let's try to grind out a win here!

He will get better at it i'm sure, his hockey IQ is much higher than JVR - in due time!! Ya!

Nobody is going to vilify the NHL's golden children. You can bet that if someone on the Flyers did that, there'd be calls for suspensions and they'd be playing it over and over and over again.

People keep blasting Emery but I think he is a solid backup. He's very positionaly sound and has an awareness on how to redirect rebounds.

Our whole club was high and wide 2 weeks ago ? Mr Snider and Homer just could not shoot the puck early on this year ?

It's his lack of lateral movement and quickness that gives me nightmares.

The worst thing about tonight's game.....

We have to listen to Mike Emrick and his sidekick Pierre Maguire. I detest those two, so the sound is turned almost to silent.

I like how the national media is starting to understand goaltending hasn't been the problem so far, maybe the dolts on the main boards will get this & stop trying to send goalies to us in the trade proposals.
