Nemo was stellar!

I love Hertl right now, he seem immune to whatever lack of motivation the Sharks sometimes get. He always tries hard with a smile on his face!

I agree that Desi is pretty solid for a 4th liner. Fits his role well and doesn't have huge defensive gaffes. Nothing to complain about imo.

Yep. You cant blame the official on that hook. All he sees is a stick on the player and that players shot going off to the side. That's a judgement call Sedin shouldn't have put the official in. Also, if they win that defensive zone faceoff with 1:20 left they probably win.

But, yeah, its all the refs fault...

Desi is solid on the dot, solid defensively, provides good effort most nights, agitates the proper way, and helps kill penalties. I don't know what else you'd want from a 4th liner and I don't know why someone would say that Bieksa gig was finally finding a role. He had/has one and has had one for a while now.

He always has been a good 4th liner.

- Never gave up even though there "wasn't the right feeling on the bench."

- Nucks very aggressive in their own zone, boxing out shots and getting guys everywhere.

- Nemo is huge, PK is about blocking shots and bearing down on the puck
- Need to find that polish for their game

In the AHL he was dominant for a time during big games and I think he can be a very effective shut down center with the right linemates .....but I'm also drunk.
I love Desi...he's the only 4th liner that I never want to see scratched

Niemi kept us in this game. 1st star. I love that Hertl got the equalizer. The kid has hands the same way Couture had hands (still does) in his rookie season, but I think Hertl is going to be more of a big time scorer.

Nice to see us pull out a win when we played pretty sloppy for 50 of 60 minutes.

He's also the only 4th liner who hasnt been scratched yet this year so the coaches agree.

Even though Niemi allowed 4 goals his last outing, he played better and was getting out of his funk. He played very well in this one and hope he's back to his old self.

Meh... predicting a win when down by 1 only looks good in a sea of pessimism. I would've definitely done the honorary for the guy who predicted a hat trick though.

Home team announcers/radio guys pick the 3 stars so it's the Vancouver broadcast who decides that.

Sound assessments from both guys. I'd be interested to know what the "wasn't the right feeling on the bench" means exactly.

Considering this IS a sea of pessimism, I believe it warrants just recognition! Don't hate the player, hate the game!
