How can a GM be this bad?

How?

Well, not even just consistently bad either. He's made a few great moves, but then does stuff like this?

HOW?

Showcase........ Matheson just posted a blog about the Oilers interest in Weber. We know how it goes when Matheson posts something like this. It usually means there is something there.

Klefbom isn't ready for the NHL. He's still struggling at the AHL level.

makes no sense whatsoever.
Arcobello has been one of the only players to bring it every game, and for the most part he's played very well.

It bothers me that Arco is sent down and a waste like Acton gets to play.

it's garbage.

Arcobello has 2 goals and is -8 in his last 9 games. If he is not producing like he was he was always a candidate to go down, even if a guy like Gagner deserves to sit out. It does us no good to put small forwards like Arcobello or Gagner on the wing on lower lines.

Having said that, keeping Will Acton instead is worrisome.

Acton still here, Arco down. At least Tambo was subtle with the tank MacT.

Excited to see How Klefbom looks though.

Only thing that makes sense for Klefbom to come up is for showcase.

Zero sense to send Arco down, especially when Acton is up still

Remember way back when odd moves by a GM usually meant a trade or something was up? Well, now that odd is the new normal, we shouldn't waste our time trying to figure it out. I am sure everyone here could count on 1 hand how many moves this year made any sense at all.
