Sharks win 3-1

Solid effort, at least.

I thought Scooby Dube was pretty good too.

The posts made the score look more respectable than it really was. Could have been 5 or 6-0 by the 30 min mark.

The Oilers with the best 4-5 minutes of hockey they've played all year at the end of the second.

The rest? Same old same old.

Oh please, they barely showed up except in the second. No physical play and brain farts galore. They scored though, baby steps. Maybe two against Calgary tomorrow night? Good to hear the fans boo.

Solid effort, only got one goal, and San Jose hit about 113 posts.

Even at its best, the Oilers are still a lottery team.

Dubnyk played decent, if we would have buried those chances in the second this game would have been very different

Solid final 10 minutes of the second. Other than that the team played like zombies.

The Sharks were on cruise control in the 3rd. Never had a moments concern. I don't think the team had sustained pressure once in the 3rd.

From the opening shift with Couture hitting the post this game was never in doubt.

Fun stat of the night: Sharks had 3 giveaways. Oilers had 16

Clearly this one wasnt on Eatkins.
He told the team chop wood and carry water, and they did not do it..

What cracks me up is Jack Michaels (can not always bash Stauffer) believed the oilers could still come back with 30 seconds left

Yak looked like he was really getting it tonight.

Hall-RNH-Eberle
Perron-Gagner-Yakupov

Two of these players don't belong...

Lets keep sending out Smyth as the extra attacker has not worked One fn time since he has been back but Renney Krueger and Eakins thinks its a brilliant play , just shows how ass backwards everything this organization does.

Duby and Yak were the Oilers best. If Edmonton had shown up in those first 35 min they could have won.

We got to see some effort out of them. I am hopeful for a win next game as well! A lot can happen(positively) in the next 60 games or so.

Scored a goal at home and let in less then 4 goals. They might have lost the game but they've won my heart.
