No, unless he pulls a Strbak.

Good work Dave...I'll be very surprised if they don't acquire a goalie this year that has NHL experience...

Good work:
Problem: No good goalie prospects
Worse Problem: best goalie prospect is 18th
Right now, I have Carey Price falling to the Kings, which would be great. If Tukonen didn't fall to the Kings last year they should have taken Schwarz.
I too would like to see the Kings pick up another goalie. Sean Burke is available.

No thanks. I'd rather see them go after Cujo or Khabibulin (probably too expensive). Or even Dunham before Burke.

Good article.
Drafting players with strong U-18 performances could probably be added to the Kings' draft tendencies. Frolov, Karlsson, Steckel, Grebeshkov, Kanko, Pushkarev, Munce, and Tukonen all had good U-18 tournaments.

That's so funny! I always thought that myself but never really talked about it. I always pointed to Juntunen and Karlsson when speaking about DTs love affair with the one-hit-wonder.

Don't forget that Karlsson had really turned it on in the playoffs in his draft year and everybody thought he'd be a good powerforward who dominated come playoff time. That's what bumped him up into the first round. Turns out that maybe he just doesn't have the drive.
