To Montreal

Brad Boyes
+50% of David Desharnais Salary
Nick Bjugstad

To Florida

David Desharnais
Nathan Beaulieu

why Montreal does this?

they add two big players to give them give size and Nick Bjugstad is 6'5. He is a big player that loves to hit and score big goals and also can play a good two way game. They also get rid of David Desharnais, but keeps 50% of his salary to make it even.

why Florida does this?

they are very deep down the middle and also on the wings but lack a true puck moving dman in the systems from what I have heard on hockeysfuture web site. they also get David Desharnais at a salary of 1.75 mil which he can play on the 3rd line behind Huberdeau/Barkov.

thoughts?

bjugstad is the best player in this deal

matheson is good enough as a PMD prospect to not trade away one of our best prospects

would you trade PK subban for bjugstad and matheson?

and please, do your research. huberdeau is playing wing

you essentially want us to trade our blue chip 6'6 220lbs+ center for a b prospect and a negative value center?

great job, just close this horrible piece of crap proposal

This is so not happening.
And, not only do we have Michael Matheson in our system (as mentioned above), we have Kulikov, some people are down on him but I'm not one of them.
So we would give up Bjugstad and Boyes (who has been useful for us), and get basically nothing back, because the players we receive in this deal don't give us anything we don't already have.

Nathan Beaulieu is the #36 best prospect in the NHL on hockeysfuture and you all him a B prospect. Nick Bjugstad is the #47 prospect in the NHL so how is he a better prospect then Nathan Beaulieu

Not a Florida fan, but they value Bjugstad highly. Much more highly than they view Beaulieu.

There's no incentive for them to do this.

HF rankings aren't always 100% accurate. No rankings are.

Habs fans stop trying to get rid of Desharnais without paying a team a hell of a lot to take him. He's not even worth his contract at 50%. Just please stop.

I keep opening the MTL-FLA proposals to see if one day DD is not included in the deal...My search continues.

Mike Matherson, Alex Petrovic are the PMDs in the system. Both look like studs so far.

Edit: Huberdeau has been and will continue as a winger for us. Barkov-Bjugstad are our future 1-2 Cs.

Bjugstad is a huge no go and is untouchable. Desharnais makes it laughable.

Don't need quantity at all. At the pro level we are overflowing with prospects.

Boyes for DD (At full salary) and Beaulieu is a more likely offer to be accepted.

Bjugstad has been a stud so far and at 6'5 will continue to improve and become more dominant down the road.

Boyes is better than DD and even if DD is at 50% cap Boyes is cheaper. And they aren't trading away Bjustad for a D prospect especially now that they have Dylan Olsen

Why would MTL do this?

I don't know why either team would accept either trade offer.

think you're not asking for enough, a 1st and Barkov need to be added from FLO...

I mean, Desharnais got a few assists tonight, you know...
