Why do I keep visiting the mainboard? The post about Subban in the Habs/Pens GDT there is beyond stupid.

Love the win, I'm happy Patches is scoring again, but Galchenyuk with under 13 minutes.

The kid kept the Habs above water when Patches and Desharnais disappeared for 20 games. He leads our forwards in points. Yet got half the time DD got on the powerplay tonight.

I know it's just one game, but if it drags on and he plays another season as a 3rd liner with under 13 minutes...

This, ladies and gentlemen, is why you DON'T trade Plekanec. First Tavares, then Ovechkin, now Crosby and Malkin. 'Nuff said.

As for Gallagher on the DD line, keep him there. Prust can't keep pace with the youngsters, so maybe Bournival should get a chance on the 3rd line next game.

We really need to re-up Subban and Markov.

We should just stay away. I know...I was there today too...and just shouldn't. Seems to me that there's an age limit on that board...everybody under 13 or something...

Subban was dominating all night. On both ends.

See Therrien, using him to shutdown the other team's top lines can pay off. He's the main reason Crosby went home without any points.

I love Prust, but he's gotta be taken off of the Galchenyuk- Eller line. Bournival is a great replacement and I would love to see that line:

Galchenyuk-Eller-Bournival

Great game. Pleks, Patches, Price, and Subban/Markov were all monsters tonight. Gally at the end fending off 3 Pens players down in their end by himself was amazing. Good game out there by White/Moen too. Emelin coming back has really stabilized the D and bumping Diaz down to the 3rd pairing has really done wonders. Plus, how do you even consider taking Letang over Subban for the Olympic team? Seriously, that would be the biggest travesty in the entire world. Subban shuts down Sid tonight, but is still WAY to risky......

Nice to see Patch finally scoring again. The guy is streaky as hell, but when he's going he's really going. I love Pruster, but as I saw tonight he's kinda dragging down Eller and Chucky. Hopefully when Bourque comes back, he goes down to the 4th and Bourque slots in on that line to give us 3 well balanced offensive lines.

Indeed, Pleks has played one of his best games of the season, he was a monster in all 3 zones all game long..

Good back to back games. Not especially liking the lack of killer instinct as both games up three to make it a nail biter.

A sound defensive effort by Pleks and Gionta.

Patches is starting to heat up. Great to see. Not sure what to do with Eller, Galch and Prust. Prust just isn't on that level.

And will MT do us all a favor and rewatch tonight on how Subban can play against top players. Maybe MT can see what type of player he has

It's so hard to keep from posting there at times but I know if I say what I want to say I'd probably get banned.. I just don't understand why posts like the one about Subban there should be allowed..

Funny thing is it's against the rules to post trade rumors from non verified sources but it's perfectly fine to make posts assuming something about a player without having any facts.. It just doesn't make any sense.

Plekanec on getting Crosby off his game: "That’s his weakness. Everybody knows that. When you get him to play that way, when Crosby is running around, slashing guys, crosschecking guys, jumping guys from behind, you know he’s off his game"

Plekanec on Moen: "He can chip in offensively with some nice backhand saucers, he loves those"
