Love it. Wonder if Pleks made fun of his moustache.

Galchenyuk and Eller haven't been very noticeable the last 2 games. MT needs to do something to get these guys going again. The Habs need another Gallagher since he's the guy that jumpstarts lines it looks like.

Even thinking of putting Letang instead of Subban on team Canada is disgustingly bad. Would be a real travesty.

I thought eller had a better game than lately. they were creating some good rushes, and controlled play in their own end and in the neutral zone. but, when things entered the ozone, the chemistry wasn't there and prust seemed to be a mental step behind.

I would like to see bournival there...

Oh man the whining on the pens board is hilarious, if you didn't know you'd think they were in last place! They are calling their team soff and want Bylsma fired because they want Therrien back. They are also saying how they have way too much invested on defense. Sound familiar? My rough calculations brings their D to only 20M which is way less than what we're going to be paying. Sometimes it's fun to read the other teams board inorder to gain some perspective. Them sweet salty tears... why do they taste so good!?

I'm still crackin up here about Bob Cole saying with regard to Gallagher, 'I've never seen anyone give as much as this little boy.'

Subban played a very good game. Aside from a poor early turnover, he didn't force anything. He played on the edge but stayed out of the box.

This kind of play will keep him in mt's good books.

Sometimes, he is his own worst enemy, but not tonight.

Jacques Martin might actually be a good coach with them. I wanted him gone as much as the next guy, but I never thought he was stupid. He didn't exactly have a lot to work with here, and he probably lost the room that last year and had to go.

Can't wait......protect the loss strategy in Pittsburg..
Down 3-1 sit on the loss be very interesting....
Crosby and Malkin already in big goal droughts ,Jacques is only asst coach..lol
Be interesting to see the Pens score 210 times a year....using JM system

Our next opponent is Buffalo, a team that mind-mindbogglingly has two regulation or OT wins in 24 games this season (one against TO )!

We have to win against them!

I really believe jm is their backup plan. I imagine bylsma's leash is short, and I was surprised he survived last years sweep.

I do believe jm would be a really good fit there too as the head coach

Lol Habs suck against bad teams. Buffalo is going to be an even tougher matchup for us than Caps/Pens.

I thought they were more involved today, especially Eller. I'm not concerned, although they need more offensive support than Prust can give them.

PK is awesome he`s been great since he got called up. 1 turn over out of 50 times that he touched the puck no one else can do that in the league.

They're not just a bad team, they're an atrocious team. I honestly can't remember a team as bad as them since the lockout.

Just got back from the game. Wow - after the first eight minutes Montreal played an almost perfect game!

- Pressuring the Pens' defence, forcing turnovers, effective forechecking by all four lines. Even Briere and Desharnais are moving well.

- Defensive brilliance from Subban. On Crosby like a fungus, driving Sid crazy and stopping him at every turn.

- Plekanec a faceoff beast. I don't remember ever winning so many FOs.

This win was all about depth, commitment and everyone knowing their role.

You're not the only one but Gallagher isn't on that line to score, he is there to disrupt the other team and create space which he is doing to perfection. It's painful to see that MT doesn't realize he has another Gallagher on the team and his name is Bournival.
