Are they just rehashing Garrioch's droppings or is there more?

All this seems weird, because MB seems to be like Gainey, and is very tight lipped...something has gotten out from the other side? Winnipeg and Kane makes some sense, they are not happy with his off ice issues...

Been a big fan of Kane ever since this;

He can skate, he can fight, he is gritty, he can shoot the puck well, hes a battler. Cant even imagine a line of Kane-Chucky-Gally. Of course, we could also get him for less than other players at his skill level. In WPG i heard they have some troubles with his behaviour and Ladd is playing amazingly. Im sure they would take Bourque, a 1st and a high level prospect and a mid-tier prospect(Collberg/Beaulieu and Thrower/Holland)

This is a great video too!

If Kane has off ices issues then why do we want to trade for him? The off ice issues will become ten folds in Montreal, Right?

I'd adore Kane here also but be prepared to give up more than that if he's available cause someone else will

We apparently weren't happy with Kristo's off-ice issues.

Based on some decisions already made by MB, this doesn't exactly give me a warm-fuzzy. I'm not sure I want him making any splashes at all, never mind big ones.

I don't see it...

only pieces that have value & would make any kind of sense to be worth trading are not going to get an elite player coming back.

Beaulieu, 1st, Leblanc, MAYBE Eller, Diaz... that's about it.

and since we're not getting any upgrades coming in for the likes of Gionta, Bourque, Desharnais, Briere, I just don't see how, even if we did find a willing partner with those pieces above, we'd have the cap space to swing it.

at this stage, moving some/most of the Gio-Bourque-DD-Briere-Murray group for picks/prospects, then focusing on perhaps 1, at most 2, UFA-to-be deadline type acquisitions (more for the opportunity to extend them then to make a run now), is the best course.

a guy like Erat, or another underperforming vet who we can swap in for one of our disappointments could also make sense.

Build around this young core:
Price
Subban, Emelin (Tinordi, Beaulieu)
Galch, Gally, Eller, MaxPac, Bournival, (Colberg, McCaron -I hope-)

Keep these vets around for level of play & for experience:
Pleks, Prust, Markov, Gorges

& go hard this summer & next after 2 players of top-6 or top-4D material.

Apparently, they were referring to a story on their website, which is quite crappy, by the way.

It indeed was as you suggested; a rehashing of the rumor in this thread. Disappointing.

Everybody went through this, don't worry

You just need to put in what follows the "=" in the YT's URL, between the [YT]and[/YT]

For example, you want to post this video:

[YT]REAqCB9vfbU[/YT]

Here you go I fixed your post for you. Just put the part of the url after the equal sign in between [yt] [/ yt] and you're good to go.

According to Pagnotta, there are 4 MTL scouts at the Blue Jackets/Leafs game...

Habs play the Leafs saturday. David Pagnotta is a pseudo-insider, posts anything without thought just to get hits and attention.
