IMO, Parros is absolutely garbage. Bringing him in for 1 fight won't be worth it.

Did i mention DD or DD's line?
And i was just trying to explain why Therrien won't put Bournival on the Eller's line.

My thought exactly Robinson is pretty safe... For the moment... After all Subban just got his 100th assist.

And it didn't make any sense. Bourni brings more than Prust except experience and toughness, all of which he can bring on the 4th line.

So if we win a cup...is Markov's jersey being retired?

That way Leafs don't do what they did last year. Or what the Senators did to them last year.

Parros HAS to be in the line up against the Leafs. Carlyle will be dressing Orr, McLaren and Fraser.

Briere sits.

If he finishes 3rd on the all time points list and we win a cup with him playing a part in it (if only)...there would have to be serious discussion.

I'd just be happy with him finishing his career a Hab, and reaching the 500 point mark though.

I honestly don't know why anybody would watch AC. It's honestly the worst possible hockey show.

They're all tools. Relics from decades ago discussing irrelevant topics, misinterpreting or manufacturing false stories out of nowhere. The people on this show have zero idea about every single hockey-related topic. The game changed a lot since the 80's.

It's the same exact thing with Cherry. The biggest moron and an unfortunately shameful symbol of Canada who I hope will be canned after this year (due to Rogers' deal). Clueless and moronic through and through.

Well, it was an ugly win but it doesn't matter how it happened, it happened. If we would have lost we'd be freaking out about how we lost to the last team in the league so at least we won.

*Nice snipe by Gally.

*Murray stepped up, fought Scott, and earned my respect. He held his own and showed his teammates that he's willing to lay it on the line. Atta boy.

*Markov with 3 assists. I don't know how some of you guys still think that he's gonna take a discount on his current contract, because it's pretty obvious by now that that's never going to happen. Hopefully he does take the same money and stays in a Habs uni.

*Price good again as usual.

Gotta think Budaj goes against Washington again after a strong performance last week and Price gets the Leafs at home.

His +120 in 77 games in 76-77 is even safer

Sweet!

We won't know unless he does of course, but does anyone see Markov being one of those players who can just keep going for as long as they like? He looks so good after the unlucky knee injuries, and his game doesn't require alot of wear and tear (besides blocking shots). He could be like lidstrom (longevity wise) if his skating doesn't go away.

He's always been super professional and I think his work ethic could lead to a career where he could play until he's 38 or so. I know the news was he wanted one more contract, but who knows, maybe he'll stick around.

Honestly getting scared about Markov's next contract.

EDIT: Reply to StellerEller above, yes I think he can keep it going until he's 40, maybe even a little farther.

We should indeed see Budaj on the road and Price the next day at home.

I agree but sadly there's still a lot of people that watch antichambre and hockey night in Canada intermission shows. Can't they bring real professionals that actually provide true analysis of the game. It's always Habs win = greatest team ever. Habs lose = Worst team ever.

He lost some mobility but he's compensating with a high hockey IQ. He's rarely in the wrong position defensively and offensively, no issue

The way he plays could make him effective for a few more years.

Didn't get to the see the game tonight. I was out of town for a few days. Glad to see the Habs won, and Marky picking up 3 assists? Holy crap has he been good this year. I think he's skating better than last year too.

We move ahead of T.O with the win. Saturday's game will be huge. We better not choke that game up. I want to beat them so bad.

One thing that's underrated about Markov, a lot like Lidstrom himself, because he doesn't advertise it, is how good shape he keeps himself in. That's why I genuinely believe he can be effective until he's about 40 - not that it isn't a gamble, because with age comes more and more freak injuries, but if there's anyone on this team capable of that, it's Markov.
