Nah, you can propose it. But prepare for a counter-offer of Satan for Comrie, Smyth, Smith, and a 1st round pick in 2004.

Thank goodness.
Those silly Leaf trade suggestions (i.e. Tucker or Green or Belak or Reichel) posts will cease!

Nice set of forwards in Buffalo, now...

Kotalik-Drury-Satan
Hecht-Briere-Dumont
Pyatt-Brown-Afinogenov

5 of those guys had 20 goals last season, if Dumont and Afinogenov return to form, and if Pyatt takes another step that is a rather potent offense.

What? And end the time-honored internet tradition of wasting bandwidth on idiocy?

My job is so boring... please don't discourage these kinds of offers... they bring me such entertainment.

All six of those guys could/should/would be able to score over 20 goals. That's pretty strong depth in terms of offense, though this team lacks any true superstar standouts (Satan being the closest).

Still, things are looking up in Buffalo.

superstars are not needed though, I would much rather have a team that plays well together and all contribute versus a team with one standout and several underachievers.

With Delmore on the PP and Biron as #1 goalie, the Sabres are in good position for the playoffs...

Have you taken a look at Buffalo's defensive corps lately?

Great news for Sabres fans. I didn't forsee this one being a problem for as long as it was.

I think the Sabres have a legitimate shot at the playoffs, I hope they add some veterans to their lineup to get there. The thing is, Biron MUST play well or it's all over early.
