The third goal on the screen was on Hannan as well for drifting away. He was outnumbered in front 2 on 1. That's not his fault.
The bench should have let them know Perry was coming on. That goal was a result of that lack of communication. The other two goals were flukey point shots. The second Nemo usually handles those easily and the third was just a slow response to the bad drop.

Yeah, I would put the second one mostly on Niemi there but Stuart was kinda just there doing a whole lot of nothing. lol

He was basically screening Nemo lol

To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed with how all of our D outside of Braun and Vlasic are playing. A little consistency would be nice... and I don't mean consistently bad like *coughstuartcough*

I was actually pretty disappointed with Braun. His puck play was average and that's probably being generous.

Edit: He was not screening Nemo. He saw that puck. He played it poorly.

It was a weird shot. It wasn't hard..it was high and just found a way in. Puck had eyes.

Bachi Burger (order it medium-rare). Sushi House Goyemon (bring an empty stomach and order all you can eat). Rollin Smoke BBQ (surprisingly good). Fukumimi Ramen (probably better than the acclaimed Monta Ramen). Lotus of Siam (likely need a reservation for this famous Thai restaurant). Could come up with a few more places if you have other preferences.

I thought Braun was fine, and had a few great plays positionally and using his speed to bust ass and cancel out an odd man rush... maybe we were watching different games tonight

we won i guess that's all that matters. it's 2am, i'm tired, and i don't really feel like arguing with someone who always has to be right and have the last word.

He tried to blocker it away and it took a bad bounce but that's not a good goal to give up by any stretch of the imagination.

A lot of the defense sloppy play in the 3rd was due to fatigue. The Sharks just ran a gauntlet and swept it. Toronto will seem like a scrimmage compared to these last 3 games.

Too many dumb plays with the puck for him. He's better than that. Positionally, he was fine and defensively he was fine save for that one penalty. But his decisions with the puck were questionable.

And please keep it to the discussion and not about me, thanks.

Braun was sub-standard only compared to Braun standards, which are sky high. I'm not remotely concerned with him. Let's all remember he was forced to drag Stuart around for some of the game.

All-you-can-eat sushi sounds pretty awesome. Closest one here is probably Fuji's in Davis. Doesn't look like a long drive from the strip either.

If crappy teams like buffalo can put up 40+ shots on toronto, the sharks will be able to put up 60 lol

I've got nothing to complain about in this game. Like Gene Parmesan said, the Sharks looked tired in the third and Anaheim took advantage. To come out of that game with a win, and a 5 game sweep of the homestand is mightily impressive. Glad to see the Sharks get 2 days rest before Toronto though. Looking forward to watching the Sharks take on more Eastern Conference teams, especially Pittsburgh.

This and he saw more time v the Getzlaf line than anyone else on the team. He wasn't perfect? Fine. I thought he had a damn good night in the end.

They should have plenty of energy for it but it won't be an easy game. Toronto is not a bad team and is a good team at home. The Sharks have historically had tight games in Toronto so I wouldn't expect anything less than that this time around.

Speaking of food and GDT with the Ducks involved, I'm going down to Anaheim (and Palm Desert) for New Years Eve for the Sharks game. Any Recommendations on good eateries. I'm really looking forward to this, as it will be my first Hockey experience on the Road. That, and seeing a new Hockey Arena will be nice, even if it is The Honda Center and not Staples.

The Leafs are a decent team but they haven't been playing well for a while. The hot goaltending is coming back to earth and they give up tons of shots and chances.

All Sushi places in Reno are all you can eat, don't ask me why. I don't know of a single one that isn't.
