Really? That's odd because I'm not the only one. Here's the three of the first four lists (not including OP):

8. David Pope
Bertuzzi is outproducing Nastasiuk, but is ranked lower.

9. Muir
10. Houck

Bolts
1. Drouin
2. Erne
3. Gudlevskis
4. Ikonen
5. Vermin
6. Salminen
Platzer is producing less that Chase and Houck, but Platzer is ranked significantly above them here.

Henri Ikonen is significantly outproducing Adam Erne, but is ranked behind him.

So there's three posts, none of which show the players being ranked be ranked by performance.

Oh, and I apologize to other posters for involving myself in such a trivial argument.

Better stats doesn't equal better performance.

True, but that still doesn't change my argument.

Take hockeyjack13's Edmonton list for example. I've watched the Knights a lot, and I've also watched the Hitmen and the Giants quite a bit. Platzer has been downright horrible at times this year, while Chase and Houck have been great in my viewings. But Platzer is ranked two spots ahead of Chase and five ahead of Houck.

Fact is, I'm not the only one ranking the prospects based on what I believe to be their upside, despite what JayKing says. Plus nowhere does the OP specify to rank your prospects based on their performance strictly this season.

MacKinnon
Bigras
Butcher
Geertsen
Martin
Westlund
Storm

It's tough to rank a goalie with the defensemen but considering how many goalies are in the Avs pipeline I really can't put him higher. Nobody knows anything about Westlund and Storm was a flier. Butcher fell quite a bit in the draft, he's an intriguing prospect for me even if he's a ways away.

1. Bo Horvat - Been very impressive this year, really really high on him.
2. Hunter Shinkaruk - Set back by an injury but had a solid start, almost made the team to start the year.
3. Cole Cassels - Biggest surprise from this draft. Excellent showing in the summer camp and looks like he could become a very solid 3C with great passing, vision and hockey sense.
4. Jordan Subban - Great offensively, booming shot, if he was 6'+ he likely would have went in the 1st round. Looking forward to watching his continued development with the Bulls.
5. Anton Cederholm - Had a very hot start to the season but has slowed down. Looks like he could end up an Ohlund-lite. Superhuman strength (destroys medicine balls, pucks, glass, people) and has transitioned very nicely from the Euro game to the WHL.
6. Mike Williamson - Haven't seen him play this year but 2 pts in 5 games as a freshman is promising, higher ppg than Jordan Schmaltz or Brady Skjei this year so there's that
7. Miles Liberati - Stuck behind a loaded defense in London until the trade. Can move the puck very well, hoping he improves with more ice time in North Bay.

Blues only drafted four dudes:
Vannelli
Carrier
Pochiro
Saari

I can't argue with that order. I can understand preferring Carrier to Vannelli, but I think Vannelli has a higher ceiling, plays a more valuable and coveted role, and is my preference. I haven't seen Pochiro or Saari play, but from scouting reports, I'd give the edge to Saari if forced. But I don't truly know, so I'm not going to arbitrarily change the order.

Considering they had no first rounder and only had four picks, I'm pretty happy with the draft for the Blues. I have a feeling that both Vannelli and Carrier will outperform their draft position.

I don't think there's really anything surprising.

The top 3 have all been superb and I'd rank them in the order they were picked:

Monahan
Poirier
Klimchuk.

The rest of the draft doesn't really look like anything too special.

Kanzig seems like he might be better defensively than some thought, but he's still a project.

Zykov
Fasching
Leslie
Bartosak
Brodzinski
Auger
Kubalik

Fasching already looking like a real steal. Leslie has been great after a strong showing in LA camp

This, Platzer isn't anywhere close to Chase.

Ikonen is producing well and that's exciting, but Erne has a physical type of game that the Bolts severely lack. That's why he's still ranked second on pretty much all of our lists.
