The helmet kick was funny and uncalled for tbh.

But nonetheless....boyle got his ass kicked. Dude just needs to keep his gloves on.

I give the guy credit for going at times but my god has Boyle ever won a fight in his career?

Fighting someone to a draw would be a major victory for this guy.

Yes, he's a horrible fighter. But he just fought and got killed by Chara last night , and then Bieksa today.
That's hardly spot pickin, is it?
I'm pretty sure he knows he can't fight to save his life.
I said he is always the first to go after guys half his size, which is quite obvious if you've watched many Rangers games. He is happy to go after a guy he has a foot on in a scrum, and then when he drops the gloves he spends all his time using his reach to get his head as far away from the numerous punches he's going to take as possible.

He is a spot picker however, and it's quite obvious seeing as how he was forced into both fights.

I have no admiration or respect for a gutless puke who will go after guys half his size in scrums and then **** his pants when it comes to fights. Seriously, he;s absolutely embarrassing in fights. Not even relative to his size, 6 feet tall non-fighters looks more natural dropping the gloves than him.

You lost all credibility when you said Ray Emery will only fight guys he knows he will whoop. Or are you seriously going to try to argue that Emery thought he could whoop Andrew Peters with all his goalie equipment on? Didn't think so.

How? Who else on the Rangers should Bieksa have fought, Dorsett who had already fought in the game?

Spot picking is the most wrongly-used term on this site, even more so than "it's not even close!"

Boyle has a surprisingly decent fight card over his career so far:
-Ian Laperriere
-Matt Pelech
-Theo Peckham (x2)
-Matt Walker
-Zenon Konopka
-Adam Mair
-Jody Shelley
-Braydon Coburn
-Anthony Stewart
-Tom Sestito
-Wayne Simmonds
-Chris Neil
-Adam McQuaid
-Zdeno Chara
-Kevin Bieksa

Some of those guys aren't world beaters but most of them are at least average or fight a good amount.

Emery also fought Josh Gratton before as well. I don't think he really cares who his opponent is, if he's pissed he's going to go after somebody.

That is admittedly a much better card than I expected. He did willingly fight Neil in the playoffs, did not need to be forced into it at all.

Boyle is one of the biggest wastes of size since Hal Gill.

Yup, I can't attest to most of those fights except the Shelley, Coburn, Sestito, & Simmonds ones (where I remember them & can say he lost all of them for sure) but most of them on dropyourgloves.com have him down as a loss or a draw, with the former being the outcome on the majority of them.

He sought out Coburn & Shelley after questionable hits but with Simmonds & Sestito it was during scrums after the whistle around the net.

Boyle fought McQuaid because well McQuaid forced him too. It was after the whistle and Boyle shot the puck at the net and it hit McQuaid who then skated over and forced him to fight. If Boyle didn't have his reach and if McQuaid was angrier it would have been bad for Boyle. McQuaid got a few good punches in but that's it.

1st it was a joke.

2nd I meant it because Boyle had the height and weight advantage in this fight and still got tossed around. Showing that Chara (Spot picking or not) didn't have to do much to make Boyle embarrassed.
