whats up with pedneault

1st it's lecavalalier now forsberg AND naslund i wonder what he's been smoking or has he just been hanging out with leaf fans too much?

http://www.rds.ca/hockey/chroniques/184309.html

for those that dont read french here's the interesting part:

He basicly says that forsberg and naslund want to pull a selanne/kariya deal and it's not every day players like that are available, wink wink bob.

As if they have any chance to play in montreal i mean come on yvon...

If were the only team to come up with a solid offer for both these guys, we might have a chance. But the question is how can we fit with the cap?? And that would be the end of Koivu in MTL for sure.

It'll be tough to get 2 superstars at the same time, with the new CBA.

Imagine if Pittsburgh signs them? They have the cap space, even with Crosby and Lemieux. Lemieux can just pay himself $1 mil. Scary thought.

Ya, he's not suggesting that it's likely, or even possible. Just making the statement that Bob Gainey would be crazy not to at least look at Naslund and Forsberg if they were willing to come here (hook up with their old pal Sundstrom ).

He is being kinda a Leaf fan though. Suggesting any big name free agent + Habs.

It would be the end for Koivu.. But i don't mind honestly. For the Cap well. Naslund and Forsberg want to play together if so, they would have to take a paycut to play together.
