I completely agree with you, Carter can handle himself in these situations and knew what he was getting into. KO's happen in fights between two top heavyweights too, doesn't make it a mismatch, let alone a colossal one.
Good on Foligno.
He's always struck me as a guy who fights because that's what he's gotta do to keep his job as a fourth liner, not somebody who's actually good at it. The only real win on his card is when he tuned up Dubinsky, who isn't a great fighter his own self.
He doesn't get up immediately because he's sitting on his ass with two referees and Foligno there but he gets up on his own pretty quickly. Is he at any point knocked out? no. So how can it be a knockout?
