Pleks seems to love Briere too. A playmaking winger is exactly what the doctor ordered for Pleks.

The case was made and the case is closed.

The score was closer than the game. Toronto was thoroughly dominated in that one.

You obviously don't know the rules if you thought it was a good goal. JVR had both feet in the crease well before the goal.

No, this is not a joke. Well, it is, but you know what I mean. lol!
Phaneuf is not a 7 mil defenseman. He's more a 6-6.5 defenseman if that, but the rest of their d-men are so bad that they make him look like a star. Him and Gunarsson are the only two legit top 4 NHL d-men they had dressed last night. Guys like Ranger Reilly Fraser, you can have one of them in your lineup, but 3...way too much. Gardiner is ok but you have to be careful where you use him, he is like Karlsson defensively. More a rover(like the old days of hockey) than a d-man.

Holy crappy. Carlyle complaining? JVR has done that exact move that Patche's did. And seriously, I see nothing wrong with it. Players jump into the glass or do the staredowns. A little flamboyance is good...right mr.cherry? If it isn't you really need to stop stealing old ladies' curtains to make your suits

So .. since Therrien's Columbus speech of

"We want to manage the best team in the conference and it starts tonight"

6-1-1

14 goals allowed in 8 games, only losses a 3-2 SO loss to the Capitals and a 1-0 loss to the Rangers.

Too bad.

Therrien will play Bouillon a lot.

Agree. Murray especially looked good hitting kadri hard one time. That was very cool. Nice to have parrots out there to make sure leafs don't take liberties with their fourth line.

I agree. Bourque played very well tonight. I like prust when he is not agitating guys to fight. Fights don't usually serve him or the team well.

If the Leafs hadn't coincidentally scored 2 goals after Patch did that, he never would have brought it up.

Same situation as Eakins jumping on Eller's "junior team" comment after they beat us.

It's funny because they're admitting their teams had no motivation until we pissed them off. That's great coaching.

He sure is a pest, but I hope he doesn't overdo it. That can backfire and fire up the other team.

It wasn't as good as I originally thought. He didn't roof it from a bad angle like I thought. He got lucky by hitting Price in the helmet and it rolled up and in. Good skills for sure, but there was luck involved.

About time he gets some love here. I know he is very slow but he does have assets we need. Pairing him with Diaz was brilliant.

ThIs whole old boys mentality really needs to go. ANY other sport out there has ridiculous goal celebrations! This is the only sport where people cry about it. God, even golfers do it! Let these guys express themselves instead of being faceless drones. I just don't get it.

I was at the game and what a blast we had, it was outstanding, such a great atmosphere. I had leaf fans around me, it was awesome, I sat in section 119 about 12 rows from ice level and had an outstanding view.
I was very impressed by plekanec, the dude was everywhere, such a talented player, max pacs beautiful skating and talent level blew me away, Briere, Gionta(so great defensively) Prust, even DD was so good down low. Pk and Markov, just cant say enough great things about them, just amazing all around, I am also here for the Devils game on Monday, such a great time and also would like to acknowledge the beautiful ladies, they were so POLE-ite and talented.Go Habs Go!!!!

Some things just make too much sense, but take a while to fall into place. Pretty good value for a pairing that costs <$3 million combined (for now, lol).

Price with an assist on the first goal, too, I just realized. Surprised he doesn't have more given his puck handling, and the Habs ability to get he puck up the ice quickly.
