Lundqvist Rocking the Blue,Red,White

Note:
His new NHL legal c/a has not come in yet, his pads are 1/2 inch smaller than legally allowed, and he is complaining that he is having trouble keeping pucks in his new legal glove.

course the thing is, every goalie will have trouble with that at first

but you seem to be saying now all his equipment is as big as it could be right now...

Nice pic, those pads though damn. They look like my old roller/street hockey ones. He still looks like a big guy.

he plays bigger than he is. He's one of those goalies who has always looked bigger than he is, he's actually not a very big guy.

I like the mask too. Richters mask was perfect. While creativity is all nice and good, why not just go with what works. It should be part of the ranger uniform. Remember Blackburn's mask, It just looked weird.
Labarbara's is lame too, I think it has gonzo on it. Someone should try to pull off the bald eagle, like belfour but red white and blue.

I always liked Potvins.

I still have my mini-goalie mask from that NHL97 offer.

There was a company out of Toronto who made like .75 scale helmets in the mid 90's. I remember seeing em up in Toronto but that is years ago at this point.

You know if hockey were a bigger sport, that would be a huge hobby.

I agree that Henrik's mask looks a lot like Richter's. Richter's was cool because it also worked for Team USA. The best I've seen on a Ranger was Beezer's with all the bees flying around the New York skyline. http://www.kazlaaz.com/goalies/pictu...skbeezer02.jpg That was awesome. Anyone remember if Dunham ever had a 9/11 thing on his? A picture of the towers maybe with an NYPD and FDNY logo would make a good mask.
