Maybe or Carter could end up wearing 9 like he did in World Juniors recently.

he did that in 2003, and I don't think they got to choose, and I think someone else was wearing 7. He wore 7 in 2004. In 2003 Crosby wore 28 and 2004 he wore 9, so the first time around they might not get to choose

Would you like to explain that?

Grant was an overage draft pick last year. He's and enforcer who is a big hitter and got more icetime this year because of his age. He played on a scoring line all year. How his skills translate to the AHL will remain to be seen, but he's a very good fighter. Better than Gratton IMO, but one would have to see him against equal competition to make that a decision. Definetly a top 3 fighter in the dub last year.

looks like Clarke is already playing mind games with carter adn richards, they arent entitled to any "A-player" rookie bonuses that go against the cap, he offered then a take it or leave it offer, luckily they both accepted it.

It wasn't lucky, if they went back into the draft the two would have received lower base salaries.

It was smart, and puts the Flyers in very good position.

That's what I mean. Donald Brashear has played on scoring lines before as well, hey I hope he's better, I've never seen him play, that's just what I've been told

I don't know if Grant's skills will translate. He was an overager who was simply bigger and stronger than other kids. I just thought you ment Brashear in the negative sense, reluctant enforcer who thinks he's too good for the job.

Yep. In the newly capped NHL, any time you can get talent for less it's a good move.

Grant was Gilbert Brules body Guard last season. Hes a tough hombre and not a bad player with some decent skill.
