And...now we're screwed...

Actually, we're ok as long as Dorion stays...if Tim takes him, then we might as well fold...

This would be worse than losing Alfredsson. That's not an overreaction.

He should take the opportunity while it's there.

I don't know what this means but someone said they saw Pierre McGuire at the hotel pool and his fingers and toes were crossed.

If Buffalo was an O6 it'd match the criteria of someone else we once had.

Buffalo is probably talking to a lot of people about the job.... Just cause Alfie left doesn't mean everyone will...

Classy move to allow Tim a chance to get a GM job. Could be bad for us but good for him none the less.

It sucks, but it's a great opportunity for Tim. Being able to spend to the cap is great for a GM. Less scrutiny from the media is just a bonus.

Here's hoping Bryan convinces Tim to stick around until the end of the season where Bryan should be stepping down as GM.

Melnyk's going to ruin this team by being such a cheap ass. I wish we as fans could try to find a way to get him to sell the team to a competent owner who actually wants to win a championship and not focus only on profits. Can't stand the way he's using this team to cry poor and claiming he needs a casino to be able to spend to the cap like he used to even without the casino. The guy's an absolutely POS in my books.

if tim ends up leaving it will be because of melnyk and the relationship. no reason to leave if there is a good plan in place for the future.

You know it's funny when it rains it pours
We got money for casinos, but can't get a top 4 defensemen
Say there ain't no hope for the future, but the truth is, there ain't no hope for Eugene Melnyk

Melnyk can't afford an assistant GM anymore.

If he's being allowed to talk to Buffalo, it probably means he knows he's not going to be the Sens GM next year.

******* this is gonna be like Peter Chiarelli all over again - Murray leaves for Buffalo, convinces Ryan to sign with the Sabres in his ufa year, they go on to win the cup.

He owes us nothing. It's a job available immediately and an attractive one.
