I kind of agree with that benching. Stupid penalty that opened the door for the Leafs when it was firmly shut.

First the refs did their job badly. And the Habs were lucky to win. More physicality would have helped.

White will get in. Probably against Boston, but it might be at the expense of bournival. Its a busy stretch, so I fully expect it.

L'Antichambre: "We have to talk about Subban"

Goes on to talk about him condescendingly, giving him backhanded compliments, pretending as though he's not one of the best ****ing defenseman in the league right now. Good riddance next year RDS

It's Sotchi in french. Doesn't really matter since it's translated phonetically from russian so any spelling could work. Like Emelin / Yemelin, Kostitsyn / Kastsitsyn...

I really don't understand why it's so hard for them to give praise where it's due. Why can't they just acknowledge that one of their own ****ing players who's is the Norris winner for what he is. It looks as though it's actually painful for them to make a nice comment on him. I really don't get it.

Also, who does Parros remove? He is playing against Boston. I will not suffer watching any more Bruin beatdowns.

Most of the time they talk about pointless gibberish anyway. Why should their opinions matter to us then?? I just watch them from time to time to have a nice laugh.

This team has good offensive depth, and rock solid D/Goaltending. With that combo, you'll win a lot of games, even some like this one.

This Habs team might have the most offensive depth I've seen on a Habs team in living memory, and I'm in my 30s.

While we might not have a true 1st line, we have 3 lines that score with some degree of regularity. So it's like having 3 strong second lines. Our team must be a match-up hell for other coaches.

In any event, great win! Awesome year for Price, Subban, and Markov so far.

I wouldn't be surprised if Murray is taken out for Boullion (and put back in for Boston).

Bournival out for white, then White out for Parros on thursday. IMO that's what will probably happen

Good or bad, L'Antichambre is the David Desharnais show every time.

Thats a decision I'm glad I dont have to make lol. Honestly, I forgot about him for a moment. Maybe white doesn't get in after all. It's up to mt if he prefers the light weight who can play more minutes, or the heavy weight who needs his minutes more managed.

Its great to have parros, but the margin of error against Boston is small.... So I dunno

What helps is having two Elite offensive Dmen on our blueline. Our PP helps out so much, and it's great to see multiple lines clicking at the same time. 2008 was a hell of a team, but I think we were still a top6 team (though 08 Kovy was better than any forward we have now). We have a top9 now, and it is such a great matchup tool, especially when the Plek line is so adept defensively.

Also, Jagr is amazing. 41 years old and still more dangerous than anybody on our team, at least among the forwards. Should have signed him, but he was too big.
