“I don’t know if I should say,” Nevins said. “Toronto Maple Leafs. Not any more. I hate them now.”
In the 70s the Habs drafted another scrub 241 out of 245 and his favourite team was also one of our arch rivals, the Bruins. He went on to instill fear in opponents and turned out to be a good hockey player and a Bruins hater on top of it. I'm talking about Chris Nilan.
So he is "extremely limited offense ability" yet he is putting up a point per game this year and only 1 point from leading his team. Hmmm something here doesn't add up.
Lots of players have been waived through a junior league or not been wanted and ended up as productive NHLers. Guys like Giroux Clowe T.McGinn A.MacDonald etc I'm somebody with a lot of time can find 15-20 more.
Why would he get outmatched physically at 6'2" 215-220lbs at the next level?
I have no problem with you having an opinion, you are just grasping at straws on some of them.
Bottom line, this guy has assets that might make him an NHLer and all he cost was a contract so very low risk.
It's the Q I wouldn't go on offensive points, I know a guy from Newfoundland who put up like 102 points one year and he can't skate, I can skate better then him
Sweet thanks on behalf of all of Us, the Hab fans that realize it's pretty hard to concentrate on hockey when Cavemen are trying to take your head home as a trophy.and Nevins can play as well great thanks, now our players can hold their heads high once more. Doesn't it strike anyone as a little odd that these big guys playing tough won't take their helmets off and fight the fair fight. Maybe you have to have Actually fought in your life and protected friends that couldn't protect themselves to understand what a bully/coward is.
