Montreal Canadiens have diverse group of prospects playing at junior level

The Montreal Canadiens have a diverse mix of prospects playing at the junior level. They have a large group of forwards with a good mix of speed, skill, and physicality. Along the blue line, the team has two puck-moving defensive prospects with distinctly different styles of play. The Canadiens have also have a strong goaltending prospect in Zachary Fucale.

OHL

Connor Crisp, C/W, Sudbury Wolves
Acquired: 3rd round (71st overall) in 2013

Crisp jumped out to a good start in his fourth season at the junior level with his new team, the Sudbury Wolves. The big forward was playing at about a point-per-game pace but cooled off in the month of November along with his team.… read more

The bad thing (or is it good?) is that we have very little room for any of them. Just look at the D in Hamilton...

We'll have ONE spot next year for one of Beaulieu, Tinordi, Ellis & Pateryn to play full time.

Great read!

So far this season, Crisp and Gregoire really surprised me.

I knew nothing about Crisp but reading about him and seeing some highlights... im excited!

Im a big fan of Gregoire, his stock kinda dropped on draft day and the Habs were lucky to draft him. But even as a fan of the player i did not expect that kind of production! Keep an eye on this kid.

The bright side is that you need that depth during the season for call ups if need be, it keeps the D in front of them honest knowing they have competition behind them and they're great trade bait if need be.

You can never have too many assets and we seem to be stockpiling them
