boynton is boston's #1 dman, he is young and affordable. He was never a possibility for comrie. Besides, O'connel wouldn't trade for a headache, he trades them.

well...that's not quite true. He traded for Guerin, who I believe at the time had a couple of holdouts under his belt.

Good for Boston, they really need Boynton if they plan on making the playoffs.

He was injured anyway so the holdout wouldn't have made any difference. It may take a few games to get back in to the swing of things but I don't see a problem. Fingers crossed.
