You can't take the sky from me!

Also, in completely unrelated news, the whole Lego thing has officially jumped the shark. Lego Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, fine, whatever. They're even making a Lego movie. You've probably seen the previews on television.

But today, I learned that they are making a video game, based on the movie! A video game, inspired by a movie, based on the ****ing simplest toy in the world, blocks! And I'm 100% sure people are going to buy the **** out of it!

They've had Lego video games in the past. A roommate of a friend in college used to play the Lego:Batman video game on the 360 for hours at a time. Besides, is it any worse than Battleship:The Movie...the game?

But speaking of the Lego movie, I'm torn about whether to go see it. On the one hand, I really can't see the justification for paying money to go see it. On the other hand, a lot of big name actors (Will Ferrell, Morgan Freeman, etc) have lent their voices to the movie, so it can't be all that bad. I may go see The Monument Men instead

From what I gathered, SKJ was saying that the other Lego video games are fine, but that making a video game about a movie about Legos is extreme.

Besides, Lego games are surprisingly addictive. I haven't played any besides Star Wars myself, but the Marvel one looks pretty decent. I can't really form an honest opinion about the rest.

All I know about the Lego video games was that there was some weird obsession with collecting studs. Which is a weird thing to hear out of context when you're in another room.

*Insert joke here*

But really though, the games are actually quite entertaining. You really can't form a legitimate opinion on them until you give it a fair shot.

Stewart and McKellan are quite possibly the best duo in the entire world.

Pay attention to the flyover on sunday. Its my unit doing the flyover. I barely missed getting to go, sadly. Would have been in one of the Chinooks. Should be 3 Apaches, 3 Blackhawks, then 3 Chinooks, tight formation. Our former commander was doing some research and from what she could see, this will be the first Super Bowl with a helicopter flyover, so thats pretty cool. Completely mind-boggling that we were the ones to get tabbed to do this flyover. So excited to see my friends up there flying over the stadium.

Sorry to hear you aren't able to be flying that Chinook. That's pretty cool that it's your unit though.

This is exceptionally cool, and is probably several orders of magnitude more awesome than anything I've ever been a part of.

Also, thank you for your service.

yeah its no joke seriously awesome. I was flying as part of the practice for some training a few days ago, and even that was just amazing to be a part of. less than 150 ft separation between us and the next aircraft was pretty awesome to see up close, especially under NVGs at night!
