I would hope Bergevin is trying to sign both of them as a healthy Markov would help the team for at least a few more years, until our new crop of D are good enough to take over.

Damn that chart is pretty telling. I was scared tonight after Markov fell hard but he seems to be fine. His importance is very significant.

I think they are definitely up there. The only pair that stands out as competition for the best is Bouw - Pie in STL. I hope MB gets them locked up real soon.
