Yeah, same here. Looking forward to it.

I predict something like..

1. Canada
2. Sweden
3. USA
4. Finland

Based on what I've heard and read, this is the weakest US team in WJC in a while. I'm not 100% sure though.

On paper, yes. I'm not going to say that before they've even played a game yet though. Plus, solid goaltending and forwards that can skate and play defense go a long way in these tournaments and they've got both of those things.

Sounds like they're pretty much like Finland in every tournament in both men and boys. Weak on paper, solid on the ice

We'll see what happens.

I missed the first period of the Germany-Canada game, but people are saying Dumba looked really good. Good to hear, especially after a pretty disappointing showing in the pre-tourney games.

From the GDT, sounds like Dumba had an amazing rush that led to a goal and overall played a very good game.

I'm really interested in watching Kapanen out of Finland. Kids got some talent and should be a 1st round pick, about in our territory.

He's injured, so he is not playing.

Well...that sucks, I didn't see that he got hurt. Was really hoping to see him on this stage.

Tuned in two minutes ago, just in time for a ridiculous dive.

Is Olofsson playing? Doing well?

He was one of the worst - if not the worst - defensemen on ice against Team Switzerland. It was a shaky game for the whole Team Sweden so no need to worry, just yet.

That's ridiculous. No team should have to deal with that kind of garbage ever, let alone the WJC's.

Christoph Bertschy was injured just before the tournament, was expected to be top player and captain for the Swiss team AFAIK.

Dumba playing vs Czechs. 2 dumb penalties in 2 periods for him. He's playing with the flu, but he's looked pretty awful overall.

So how does McDuck not get a penalty for shooting the puck into the net after the buzzer?
