95TylerHillLW6.6/228OttawaShould have been selected last year, too much size & skill to get passed over twice, OHL game helps him, going to the net, still inconsistent

Quite the gap in your opinion of Mistele and Craig Button's.

Nice list and appreciate the explanations, but man that was an eyesore to read.

Julius Honka is quite low on you're list, any part of his game that you don't like? I have had a few viewings of him and have came away impressed every time. He doesn't let his size affect his game.

Mistele doesn't belong in the first round at this point, let alone the top 10.

Wow. McCann has been my pet prospect this year, but I never thought I'd see a list with him at 4.

Nice to see McCann in the top 5. The Couture comparison is a fair one but I like Jared's skating a lot better.

Thank you for sharing!

Mark,

Thanks for sharing. I would be interested to know have you scouted Beau Starrett(USPHL) and some of the prep kids in Northeast and Minnesota? Or is it too early to have caught them? Any thoughts there?

Also, any thoughts on Hunter Smith? He sure seems intriguing as a big kid who is barely an over-ager and looks like he is putting it together.

Great list. Love the quick notes. Really, it was fun to read.

A correction: Brayden Point plays on Moose Jaw; not Swift Current.

What? Another scouting orga? I'm just a little bit curious. Do they live from scouting? Or are they some hardcore fans of ice hockey?

These rankings look old.

Blake Clarke may not even be drafted at this point.

Note on Liamkin.

"Excellent at the U17's, sort of came out of nowhere, good mobility for big kid, needs to get meaner in front, hearing he will report to Chicoutimi"

He reported and has played 34 games for the Sags.

Look for Alex Lintuniemi to climb the rankings as the season goes on. He struggled a bit to start the season but he's really settled in and is an anchor on the 67s blueline already. He's been showing his Dzone awareness but his confidence offensively has been coming along. Could be a giant 2nd or 3rd round steal.

He is a huge work in progress defensively, but his stride is lively and his offensive skills are budding. Reminiscient of lesser Tom Poti. Some terrible, terrible hockey instincts at times when viewing him last month...ones that would lead to passing him over.

Bleackley, Scherbak, Honka uncharacteristically low.

Aube-Kubel missing. If 100 is the listing, Mark Friedman from USHL needs a slot.

Pastrnak at 44, heh, good one.

"Czech guys rave about his leadership, does everything well, not very flashy, should have come to CHL"

The description clearly shows they've never actually seen him play and I'm not sure they even bothered to look up his stats either, and the CHL bit, wow.

The description clearly shows they've never actually seen him play and I'm not sure they even bothered to look up his stats either, and the CHL bit, wow.
Yeah, especially that CHL part is really really stupid. It's like he should have come to CHL because of who? because of himself or because of them?
