Kings really can't give up Martinez we only have 7 D men. And Greene just got activated. And where many here mention Stoll I don't think the team would move him unless it was a perfect offer.

I guess so, but then you might as well say everyone is available save Hall and Nugent-Hopkins and maybe Nurse. I just think listing Perron on a list of Oilers trade-bait, given who else is listed, is very misleading as they wouldn't be looking to move him at all.

one of Yak/Eberle would have to get a very significant return.

Dubnyk in package for upgrade at goalie.
Lander
Why would anybody want Dubnyk, the guy looks like a beer league goalie. Just terrible and would be release or put on waivers, or sent down on most NHL teams.

Sweet reply buddy!!! I didn't see the thread asking what the players value is around the league? just who is the team willing to move.

As to the poster who commented on Perron I agree I can't see MacT moving a player he just traded for and has been the Oilers most consistent player I would remove him IMO.

Also agree second pairing D is more of a bonus then a need so you can probably scratch that. I do think that a bigger/defensive Center is the second biggest need that they will have to trade to address, Also agree they should address goaltending through FA.

What poster thinks that the Blues are "willing to give up" their first-round pick and Edmonton's pick at the top of the second round, and considers Vannelli, Schmaltz and Rattie "B-level prospects?"

The Blues are not giving up any of those assets unless a legitimate #1 center is coming back, and that's probably not happening.

There are some other pieces that could potentially be available like Ty Rattie if the right deal was there, or if there was an accompanying move like moving Shattenkirk and then another deal to somewhat replace Shatty.

In my opinion, the Wild need to look for a Brodziak replacement on the 3rd line as well as a 3rd line RW.

E. Kane to Montreal would make sense. Eller, Tinordi plus a pick (1st/2nd maybe, not sure of the value). It seems like a fit.

I think Ottawa should do Cowen + Michalek + Zibanejad to Phoenix for Yandle and a 2014 1st.

We have a lot of PMD no SAH and we havent had a good young tough SAH D for how long ? FCS we play guys like murray despite his lack of mobility simply because we NEED some beef on the back end

Even with beaulieu as the pencilled in replacement for markov, he's way more shoppable than tinordi.

Boston could use a 7th dman as well for secondary need

I don't think Coburn is available. If Philly traded him in a package for a top defenseman they would still be in the untenable position of only having one Dman who can skate well.

The goal has to be to have at least two of them on the team.

Avs secondary need is top 6 winger, preferably a RW that can snipe.

Or another top 4 dman... if that counts.

For the Sharks, you hit the nail on the head.

Our secondary need is a playmaking 2nd line winger. We prefer a playmaker since Marleau and Couture are more goal-scorers. Wingels has been fine on the 2nd line, but we prefer to keep him on the 3rd since he's not an offensive wizard. We thought Havlat would be that player but he hasn't meshed well with them and he's been injured. The Sharks are very interested in someone like James van Riemsdyk.

Also, we are almost completely barren of prospects with top 6 potential. Only Hertl, Nieto and Hamilton have any top 6 potential and I wouldn't mind shipping a D-prospect + pick for one.

I don't believe for a moment that the isles would trade Okposo anyway. Next to Tavares and Hamonic, probably the closest asset we have to untouchable.

I think Winn is just as unlikely to move Bogo.

Nielsenplus for Buff I would do. Obviously, Winn would not (and, no, plus does not mean Nelson or Strome).

Don't see a potential deal, tbh.

Don't worry about it, I think the Leafs are still interested as long as they take Liles back for him.

We've got a lot of NHL veterans in the AHL and NHL ready prospects, which is a secondary need? Otherwise, I don't think there really is a deal to be done.
