Poll: Who do you want the Sabres to pick at #13?

We're 24 hours away from the draft.......Zagrapan's in there in case he falls.

I doubt he'll fall that far, but I voted Staal. If he's gone, I'm still thinking it'll be Brian Lee.

From that list, I'll throw my mark on Jack Skille.

While I'd like to see a blue chip d-man brought in, Bourret is awfully intriguing. I voted for Staal because "other" was not an option.

If Hanzal or Zagrapan are there, I'd draft them. Otherwise, I'd go with Brian Lee

Someone should start a "who do you think the Sabres will draft" thread and everyone can start tossing around off-the-board, late 1st/mid 2nd round tweeners.

1. Zagrapan
2. Latendresse/Hanzel/Skille
3. Bourdon/Parent

However, i would rather we either move up to top 6, or down to early 20s getting say another second in return.

Cogliano is another player i like the sound of. Speedy and a good scorer. Just what we need. I think we could get him with an early 20s pick, and wouldn't mind trading down at all.

Bourret or Bourret. And if he's not available, then I want Bourret. If we select him I'll be ecstatic.

I voted Staal, if he's gone then it's Bourdon. If both are gone try and trade down and take Brian Lee. however the cookie crumbles we must land a defensemen in the first

I don't think its a total necessity to grab a defenseman in the 1st by any stretch. First of all, there are a ton of good defensive prospects in this draft who could turn out to be real sleepers. And then we got the UFA's to take a look at. I think we need to do what Darcy says and take the BPA.

i voted parent beacuse hes the only item that will be around him or Hanzal after reviwewing my notes i took on the draft and what each team needs
it was something like
Pittsburgh- Crosby
Anaheim- Benouit Pouilot
Carolina- Gilbert Bruke
Minnesota- Bobby Ryan
Montreal- Jack Johnson
Columbus- Anze Kopitar
Chicago- Ryan O Marra
Atlanta- Marek Zapgrapn
Ottawa- Marc Stall
Vancouver- Luc Bourdon - Sabres would have liked to get him
LA- CAREY PRICE
San Jose- Martin Hanzal
Buffalo- RYAN PARENT
THAT G lebredasdgve Person might be up there dropiing Hanzal
I would be happy with Hanzal or Parent
Hanzel is a huge forward with brighter upside the Gaustad and Parent a future top 4 dman Which sabres need desparely

There is no chance in hell that Johnson falls to fifth. Just so ya know. Good effort, though.

If Skille falls to 13, I wouldn't be too upset about the Sabres passing up on a defenseman.

Bourret would probably fall into that category as well.

But if they are both off the board, then I'd lean towards the Best Defenseman Available. And in my mind that is likely to be Brian Lee or Ryan Parent.
