These are elementary adjustments, I can't believe it took so long.

It's like sticking your gonads into a hornets nest, having it go badly, and then doing it 5-10 more times before deciding a different course of action may be required.

If for bleeps and giggles you attempted that act, would it be known as beef jerky?

Gus should be playing full time... he had one bad game pretty much!

Last year, the WC and most of his games this year he has looked like a legitimate NHL d man who can be a 4 with the right partner and a good 5, who can contribute on the PP and is solid defensively. For the money he is pretty perfect really... that is the kind of guy you want in 2 of the 3 the 4/5/6 roles (not all the same kind of player ofc... but similar standard of hockey player, solid and cheap.)

You know what? I don't think I enjoy being stung by hornets. I'll take my balls out for this game, but i'll probably put them back in for the next one.

Schenn doesn't make things better for that line. None of them really complements any of the others.

Thank Gawd.

Apparently Berube has never played a day of hockey either.

Maybe, just maybe, this somehow works out for the good. I am not counting on it though

I'm fully expecting him to whiff on multiple chances tonight.

It means 'from the field' effectively!

So if you were being lateral it could be considered as 'from the farm'. (doesn't really work but hey.)

Which he is.

Simmonds hasn't been too bad lately, it's Hartnell who's the problem. Even though Raffl isn't really a great fit for the first line, it's an improvement at least.
