Damn, I missed where Nemeth got injured. I don't remember him getting hit hard last week (my memory is shoddy right now). He was out last night.

I'd think the next possible callup would be Gaunce. He's been terrific the last few games but he's a very different player than Goligoski. Though they may need his type of play, very much stay at home defense.

It's either him or Jokipakka who isn't ready yet. After them it's all career AHLers or ECHLers (Fortunus, Wrenn, Labrie, Button, and a new guy from the ECHL).

Seguin got credited for Nichushkins assist. So Seguin ended up with 4 points and Nich with just 1 goal.

Ruff not happy at all about that hit on Goligoski.

The breakout passing today was horrific, so many turnovers that lead to chances and goals for Winnipeg. I think if they clean that up this isn't nearly as close of a game. I do hope Connauton and Oleksiak get a longer leash because they're rookies and they've done a lot at the AHL level. Goligoski was horrible but we are quickly running out of NHL quality d-depth. I'm guessing Gaunce is practically the last in line at this point.

He shouldn't be happy about that hit, Peluso is a goon.

Ruff usually isn't an emotional guy. Keeps everything in check good and bad with the media.

Would have loved to hear what he was saying to the team before the PP started.

Didn't look like that on the CBC broadcast, went and looked at the highlights from the Stars broadcast and Seguin definitely touched it.

Overall he isn't, this is his first questionable hit. I don't like the hit, but peluso has shown hes not just an enforcer.

Call in is at noon est today, im guessing he gets 2-3 games and its well deserved.

Based on what I saw yesterday he was trying to goon it up. He had 3 minutes of ice time and all he did in that time was try to take runs at people.

Him and Thorburn were trying to change the emotion of the game but doing it in the wrong way. Why would Dillon fight Thorburn.. he doesn't accept so then later on Thorburn shoves Dillon into the goalie..

Like these are really stupid plays. Speaking of which, why the fudge is Thorburn on the second line for you guys?

Razor mentioned he's getting that opportunity because Kane is out with an upper body injury.

So you can't call up someone from the AHL, or put a decent player there? Why put a 4th line fighter?

It's like putting MacDermid with Eakin and Chiasson when Whitney went down.

Yes it was an odd game. Clearly the players felt some pressure. End of our home stand where we gave up 2 pts every game and only got 1 pt out of 4 (now 6). I'm just as unhappy with those two players as you are. This is not Jets hockey, and trust me there will be consequences other than from the league.

#noelogic. Kane is out, so they put Thorburn on that line to go into corners to get pucks for Seto and Jokinen. It seems to work. We don't really have anyone else to put into the top 6, maybe O'Dell from the caps? But he's a center, terrible defensively, and a slow skater even though he's 5th in AHL scoring.

They thought Albert deserved a chance, but he's a 4th liner energy guy.

I'm fine with it. It was a dumb and dangerous hit, but it wasn't super dirty.
