Speaking of Alt, how is he coming along?

Awesome. I've seen him a couple times live this year and he's fun to watch.

Such a dominant player at that level.

One three point night, which two assists were secondary, doesn't wash away the ****y season he's had.

He hasn't been mvp of the defense or anything, but he's no career AHLer

No, it definitely doesn't. But it would certainly go a long way if this is the beginning of Meszaros beginning to turn it around. For the first time in quite some time, he's healthy and last night, he was skating like he did when he first arrived in Ottawa.

Why is a 22 year old former second round pick in his first pro hockey season a career AHLer exactly? He was in ADK on a PTO last year.

I agree he was much better last night but his skating can be top tier but if he can't take care of his own end he's useless to us especially at 4.5 million. I'm more then willing to see if he can continue his good play and legitimately turn things around but to be honest he was never very good in his own end. He thrived on facing weak competition and this year, at least to date, he hasn't. If he can't at least do that while providing what he does offensively then I rather give a young guy with some promise a chance.

Regardless Gus was activated from IR today.

I agree. The man has talent, just needs to show it.

Sam Morin hurt? Don't see him in the box score for Rim right now.

Can't find anything on him actually.

For Morin, it must be that H6N7 strain.

Always funny going over and visiting other peoples boards. Montreal has one up about trading up in the draft to get Morin. Most of them saying they are happy they didn't. Even some go as far as saying he doesn't have the hockey sense or IQ........ his strongest attributes besides his huge frame.

I meant Hagg. Did they sign Hagg. He's technically in a professional league, isn't he?

Big Sammy is creeping his points per game average...its now knocking on the door of .7.

That seems pretty impressive.

Not a good game to get a first impression of Union. So far they have been putrid.
