Give him 15 more games. Then the complaining will end.

The NHL will announce its ruling next week on when the Vancouver Canucks forward can resume league play, a source requesting anonymity told The Canadian Press on Friday
I am the anonymous source - the inside scoop is 87 more games on suspension for Bertuzzi.

Apparently Bettman has decided that is a good number to use for marketing purposes as it will be worn by Sid the Kid.

No it won't. Most want him out of the game forever, arrested for attempted murder, hanged at dawn.

The general public likes Karla Homolka more than they do Bert.

The way this whole situation has been handled has been pretty pathetic by the league. Since when should a player be under indefinite suspension for over a year? Who cares if the league was locked out, they still could've made a descision. Makes the NHL look even more like a pee wee league IMO.

Maybe Todd Bertuzzi will tell the media the first thing he will do once unsuspended will be to go to Tim Hortons.

I think Bertuzzi will be given 15 games, but not in the usual fashion.
The 15 games will be spread out over the whole season, and infact opposing teams will be able to put Bertuzzi into the penalty box, or remove him from any game they choose.

Example:

Bertuzzi gets a lead pass for a break away, but then the refs notice the oppositions coach using his special hand signal, and they blow the whistle and penalize Bertuzzi for 2 minutes of his 15 games.

Plus, Bertuzzi will have to skate around with strings attached to his arms and legs like a puppet, so he is always guaranteed to be under control.

Plus, all players will be free to hit Bertuzzi should they wish at any time... but only with sticks below the neck.

Bertuzzi shouldn't get anymore games. He's paid enough for what he did.

He shouldn't, but he will.

I predict he'll get 20 more games. They'll want to get past the big three early games against Colorado, so that's 13 games at least. 20 games gets four Colorado games out of the way, which is why I chose it. And they love round numbers.

There's also a minor shot at 30 games, which puts *six* Colorado games aside, and allows Bert to play a full quarter season before facing them.
