Why should the Rangers get a compensatory pick for Karel Rachunek?Did he sign with another NHL team?Rachunek is an unsigned group II.The compensatory picks are assigned to teams which lose group III's free agents.In the new CBA,compensatory picks are not part of the new agreement.For the 2005 draft,teams which lost a group III free agent between July 1-September 15 2004 were assigned comp picks
