Shoot off the boards with this Goaltender for the backdoor play... guy cheats, and also comes out soooooooooo far.

Frustrating period. But if we get 14 shots every period, we're going to score our fair share of goals we were close. That Powerplay though.... YUCK

Yeah, I hope he has a concussion. That way he at least has an excuse.

That might have been the worst Flyers power play I've ever seen.

I was wondering the same thing. I think Giroux scores if he's not there.

Yeha, he just kinda got in the way...then cut through to the front of the net. That's some EASHL D right there.

Just for fun, I looked up results versus backups this year.

The Flyers are 4-5-3 versus backups... pretty bad record, actually (I looked it up, thinking the record was better).

Wins versus Talbot (NYR), Poulin x 2 (NYI) & Lehner (OTT)
Losses versus Khudobin (CAR), Greiss (PHX), Lindback (TB), Ellis (DAL) & Raanta (CHI)
OTL versus Peters (CAR), Mazanec (NSH) & Grubauer (WSH)

Could be heating up. 2 lasers that went in and 1 that hit the crossbar. It's nice to get something out of him.

Not worried yet. Completely dominated that period and the goal was just a mistake by Voracek. As long as they keep playing like they did in the first the goals will start going in. There were a ton of chances that were very close to going in.

I would like them to switch Streit and Timonen on the PPs too.

Schenn needs to look at downie and ask himself how come i cant play like that.

Downie has great freaking puck skills, if he had schenns shot he would be a star.

Not making excuses for him, but doesn't he still have less than 2 seasons worth of NHL games played? He still has time to put it all together.

I really dislike Voracek now. That's just such brainless play. Be a professional. There is unselfishness then whatever the hell that is.

Once again, too many passes. Be selfish for once.
