They need to tell Raffl to stand behind the net so Giroux and Voracek try to pass it to him and accidently end up shooting.

Why the **** is it always Grossmann when one of our defensemen get a great shooting lane?

Does anyone have the quote from a few days ago when Jake actually admitted to the media "I never look for the shot" like it's a perfectly normal hockey approach. It was kind of shocking. It's almost like a world class surgeon blithely saying "I usually go into the the OR completely drunk".

Because, like with Carle, his shot isn't feared. That's my guess.

We could make it change colors too. It'll be very nice to watch.

Because teams pay closer attention to good offensive defensemen and give more room to guys who aren't known for offense (by cheating to other spots in the defensive zone)...

Wins versus Talbot (NYR), Poulin x 2 (NYI) & Lehner (OTT)
Losses versus Khudobin (CAR), Greiss (PHX), Lindback (TB), Ellis (DAL) & Raanta (CHI)
OTL versus Peters (CAR), Mazanec (NSH) & Grubauer (WSH)
Thank you for the stats, it just seems like the back-ups always prevail against the Flyers

For Qyburn:

http://www.csnphilly.com/hockey-phil...-jakub-voracek

"“Because I never shoot like that, I always pass,” Voracek admitted. “It’s been like that since I was a kid, try to look for the play, pass or something on a three-on-two. I think it comes with the experience a little bit, when you make a better decision to shoot it or pass it and I decided to shoot and it was a good decision at that time.” "

It was a rhetorical question there guys. The guy can't even come close to the net with his shot.

To be fair, the Islanders goaltending situation is so hapless, beating them doesn't seem to count.

My God, is it one of those games where we make 3 mistakes and they score every ****ing time?

They have been making us look elite all game aside from two freaking plays.

So, I guess they're gonna score on all 2 on 1s when Coburn is caught as the only defender.

Mason needs to be making these saves. Pass taken away both times, getting beat on unscreened shots one on one essentially

Yeah, he needs to get at minimum one of those.
