Rask played combined 58 games last season.

He didn't play in SM-liiga because he wasn't ready for it and the team acquired a lot better goalies for the job (as a reasult).

Do you guys think Rask was the No1 on the Leafs "Draft wishlist"?
Im mean I red on an other board the Leafs took an awfull long time to make their 1st pick. Is it true?

When it came time for the Leafs to pick, the TSN broadcast showed Ferguson on the phone talking to somebody. I'm guessing they tried to trade down a bit, probably for a swap of first rounders and another pick.

JFj talked about moving up, and then moving back, but decided not to move back because they were worried Rask would be gone.

Would he move up for Rask?

dunno about moving up for Rask. I wasnt a fan of goalie in the first but Me thinks it turned out just fine I hope at least!
