Any news on injuries?

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any word on the Sobotka/Schwartz/Backes situation. I'm sure they spoke about it on TV during the game last night, but I was at the game so that doesn't help me. I havent seen much online at all about any one of them, so I dont know if thats a good or bad thing. We all know how day-to-day injuries can extend into a player being on the IR for the rest of the season (Perron)

Anyone?

Haven't heard anything about Schwartz and Sobotka and the only thing with Backes is that he hasn't been cleared for anything.

A strong possibility exists that the Blues will have none of their injured forwards back in the lineup Thursday night when the club hosts Montreal at Scottrade Center.

Vladimir Sobotka and Jaden Schwartz, who are both nursing muscle injuries, skated at the team's practice facility Wednesday. But that wasn't necessarily a sign of their pending availability.

"I wouldn't say that," Blues coach Ken Hitchcock said. "If the game was today, neither one are ready. We'll see how they feel the rest of the day and see how they feel in the morning skate (Thursday). I think our situation is pretty fluid right now.

"If the roster that played against San Jose is there, then that's the way we'll play. If we can add a player or two, we'll see ... but neither one would have been ready today."

Yikes, hopefully we can steal one from the Habs tomorrow. I guess that means Backes is a definite no as well if he wasn't on the ice today. As much as I want all 3 of them back, I'd rather be safe than sorry....But lets just not put Carlo back on LW tomorrow night for the love of God. Call someone up from high a high school team if you have to.
