Colaiacovo hattrick.

Blues lose 4-3.

Just kidding, no idea what to expect but watch Halak beat them again...Actually wouldn't be surprised to see him completely steal this one.

Yeah, I have no clue what's going to happen in this one.

Should be interesting.

My thoughts on this game:

I just want to know what Armstrong was thinking signing Morrow over playing Porter every game. That CPR line needs to be reunited.

To be honest, I haven't been impressed with Cracknell at all this season. He just doesn't seem very engaged in the play at times, and he hasn't really done anything noticeable thus far.

Yeah Morrow has been more involved than Cracknell.

I don't get the hate for Morrow, really. Yeah being on the 1st line is dumb but with our injuries we're kind of out of options there. When we're healthy and he's playing with Lapierre and Reaves on the 4th-line, I have no issue with that. He still plays a gritty game as long as he's not getting top 6/9 minutes. He has like 11 points - which is on pace for around 30.

Porter definitely looked solid too though and I'd probably rather have him in there than both of them.

Yeah I agree on Cracknell but Porter and Reaves where the catalysts on that that line. Cracknell is the big body that can hang with em.

I think Lapierre could slot in their just as easily. He's a natural center as well so it keeps Porter comfortably on the wing. As long as Lapierre doesn't repeat his Boyle incident, his agitating abilities could be very useful to this club in the long run.

Yeah if Lapierre will go back to playing his game instead of playing passive, Porter-Lappy-Reaves could be a good 4th-line. If we get to the playoffs and Porter and Reaves are flying around like maniacs hitting everything again, Lapierre will have no choice but to follow suit, and he's a better player than Cracknell.

I'd be happy with porter lappy reaves as a 4th, with morrow occasionally splitting time with porter

I disagree. Morrow has played much better than Cracknell and Porter, not to mention his involved leadership and ability to play as a power forward.

Fixed in in my post. Also fixed the MTL lineup, I guess they are changing it up, and added a nice gif.

I was pretty hard on Morrow earlier when it looked to me like he was just floating around a little.

But I admit he's looked good the last several games for sure.

It also didn't help when Hitch put him on the PP over Frank and Schwartz, which I understand isn't Morrow's fault.

Porter is a stud on the ice. Hes got a surprisingly quick release on his shot and he's not afraid to do the dirty work. Oh yeah, hes fast too. I truly don't know why he hasn't been with us all year, or at least since Reaves has been out.

word is Hitch was not impressed with Porters performance in camp.
said decision who to send down was unfortunately way too easy.
