Had I known that, I would have presented an indepth post about how DT should try to trade these picks to get Rask. Oh well.

Where did the #60 pick come from? Steckel?

Could of traded for Rask yet not worth it with the amount of golies still available but really wtf was up with taking Quick? Before Levassuer, Bishop, few other golies. I dont know much about him and reading he seemed amazing yet wasnt ranked to high.... I guess i can only put trust into our scouts but i didnt understand most of our picks

The main knock against Quick was his high-school competition, but apparently the guy has some amazing natural gifts & talent (yes he is apparently very "quick" and instinctive) and his massive numbers (.953 save pct and a 1.19 GAA, 9 shutouts in 27 games, 19 of his games 1 goal or less) I'm sure made him turn some scouts in his direction.

Same knock that was against Boyle, and he is developing nicely.
