Drouin ends up as Canada's player of the game. And it's selected by the Canadian team management.

Explain that one.

It was the same for Connolly 2 years ago. I don't understand it, when you have a guy who can dominate like Drouin can. He's not only the best player on Canada, but possibly the best forward in the whole tournament.

Brent Sutter
At least Drouin isn't being put in the bottom six to play a checking role.

But yeah, give the guy more ice. He was great today.

Drouin took McDavids minutes towards the end. McDavid proved to be undisciplined and was getting man-handled a bit which is to be expected he's only 16.

Both can play in front of the net on the PP and like to drive the net when they get the chance. I don't see it as a bad thing cause I like Paniks game but I know most people hate it.
I was able to watch the game later, and I didn't see him float. He was pretty responsible defensively, and never missed a chance to hit somebody. I will say that his linemates Hartman and Eichel are doing more of the work on that line. Whenever they get in the offensive zone Erne sets up camp in front of the net, while the other 2 work. I'd like to see Erne help them out more, but both their goals came with Erne doing his thing in front of the crease.

Could they be taking it slowly with Drouin because of his concussion?

Impressed by how Drouin has been playing but it seems like he will have a rough transition into the NHL due to his style of play.

What's the attendance for USA-GER?

I see like one Canadian fan in the stands.

This stream of NHL Network seems to always be going and decent quality.

NHL.com also has a stream right on their front page of US games. 720p maximum, but this is the first game I've had some issues with lagging and had to drop it down to 540p.

I can recap what was said on NHL Network. USA Hockey. Farmers Only. Beezid. Mycleanpizza.com. Hudson Fasching.

No J Date? I'm shocked.

Mycleanpizza that's a new one sounds delicious.

I think he was cheesed after the Slovak center have him a cross check off the initial puck drop. Still unacceptable.

Missed the penalty on Joe. What happened? Did he really get a 10min misconduct?

Checked someone high with his hands and took his helmet off. Back on the bench now but it looks like coach took him off his line.
