Foligno with the win. Tied up Fraser arm nicely.

bruins games arent even fun anymore. since they signed scott the bruins players are so neutered the rivalry they had is completely gone. lucic is so scared by the threat of scott looking for him saturday he turtled to one of the worst fighters in the league. sabres need to get rid of scott just to make it fun again.

I have no idea why I'm responding because the Sabres have no (current) so using past players worth even mentioning the Bruins could sign Brock Lesner to fight Vanek. Then all the Sabres would be cowering in fear.

Scott didn't play today, Don't know if he is playing Saturday. How many games has Scott played for the Sabres since the Miller accident? He has had ample time to address Lucic and hasn't Doubt Lucic is afraid of him and Lucic didn't turtle against Weber he didn't want to fight him.

Doubt Weber makes anyone turtle.

Pretty easy considering Thornton is 6'2 and Scott is 6'8. Thornton did his job and stepped up to the challenge he tried to again this year but the refs wouldn't let them go.

thats a clear indicator of scott's abilities then...you win lol

funny how when Kaleta did his job and stepped up to Lucic when he had to those excuses went out the window...homer-ism at its finest. Fact is Thornton a bonified heavy got more embarrassed against Scott than Kaleta did against Lucic...

Win Foligno.

As for Lucic not fighting Weber...it looked pretty obvious to me that he was trying to draw an extra penalty on Weber.

Kaleta is 6'1 and Lucic is 6'4. 3 inches is much less than 5 and Scott weighs a lot more than Thornton. Different circumstances as well. Kaleta was an instigator he did his job to get Lucic off the ice and got pummeled doing it. It was Thornton's job as an enforcer to go up against another enforcer. He lost. He moved on.

I have been in the camp for awhile that Thornton is old and the Bruins should find someone bigger and younger. The Scott fight amplified that. Especially with Lucic being a 1st liner, Chara being the captain and McQuaid being a light heavy who gets injured a lot.

Looked much worse than it actually was. Most of those shots missed or hit the helmet.

Regardless , Foligno with the win for being the aggressor.

Big, bad Bruins....LOL.

Ever since Scott pummeled Thornton, the Bruins don't even look at the Sabres the wrong way. No stanchion runs, no running the goalie, no slew foots, etc. Pretty funny, actually.

Think it maybe has something to do with how irrelevant the Sabres are in the standings?

I love hflogic...on the nhl page its pages of fans bickering over whose team can beat up who rather than which team's actually better. In the fight page where that should be the fallback logic when your guy loses is well my teams better lol....around and around we go.

Winning that fight has done wonders for the Sabres in the standings that past two seasons.
