Predict who the Flyers sign

I'll say Clarke gets Hatcher for bulk and Schneider because he seems to like him, although I'd much rather have Aucoin and Foote. Also If Zeus is traded I predict we sign Modano to anchor the first line.

Scratch all that I really meant to say Hatcher, Rathje, and Forsberg.

I hope not on Derian Hatcher. I will say Mike Rathje, and Curtis Leschyshyn or Scott Lachance. Perhaps also a signing or trade for a LW.

I have no idea at this point, to be honest. With so many free agents on the market and a hole on D, it makes sense that they'll get a defenseman. Who that is, I couldn't say. I think Rathje would be a good choice, then they could probably also afford a winger of somesort.

I'm hoping for Aucoin or Foote, and then somebody like Jason Marshall or Stephane Quintal to be the 7th dman.

I'd rather have Handzus than Modano, that is for sure.

I wonder what handzus thinks about free trade an increasingly shrinking world?

Fedoruk actually frees up a good bit of space, but now Brashear can't be bought out, so we're screwed on trying to sign Niedermayer unless we can trade Brash. The original #87 in the NHL

Even assuming money is not an option? (hypothetically of course)

I couldn't disagree more.

Zhitnik and Numminen

No changes up front, but will keep cap room to make a deadline trade for a winger.

I think Satan is the best guy out there. I'd be floored if we landed him and a half-decent dman. Anyone want to take a guess at what number Carter will sport?

I think he wore 37 in the playoffs, but I think he usually wears 17 which is free now I believe.

As far as defensemen go, I think Niedermeyer is an obvious #1 choice league-wide. I'm also interested in seeing Clarke re-sign Mahlakov. After that, I like Foote and Aucoin in that order. I'm not at all interested in Hatcher.

You won't see me complain if BC signs Miro Satan either.

Miroslav Satan and Mike Rathje along with a scrub-type 7th d-man,

i'd also like to see us sign a somik-type line who will specialize in 4th line duty, just to keep brashear off the ice

Isn't his #7 available as well? Perphaps he doesn't want it, but he did wear it in junior.

I think 7 is retired for Bill Barber, but I'm not positive.
