I have no idea about its origins and hopefully I don't ever have to know. Although I think those silly looking things would suit this team quite well right now...

I hate that we can go into a game knowing a loss is on tap but all we have to predict how bad the score will be.

Its a shame what's happened to this franchise.

Team sucks and the system sucks. And I have no faith that it will get better any time soon.

A little off topic - I'm taking kids to the game tomorrow and waned to ask when should we come and what should we do to watch pre-game skate near ice level? Thanks in advance.

Gates open at 6 for a 7 PM start so I'd say get there for around 6 that way you could get in and get as close as possible for warmups. Warmups start at around 630 or if you're inside the arena already, when the clock on the scoreboard hits the 16 minute mark.

I'll be there, 4 rows off the ice, rangers defending corner twice. Look for me during the intermissions, I'll be the tall guy in the winter classic jersey. Probably with a drink in hand, gonna need them...

If you told me at the start of the year that Cam Talbot starting Game 37 would be agreed upon as good news...

Add Kreider, Richards and Zuke being our most valuable assets. Smartest thing would maybe be to trade them all for draft picks, beg Vancouver to swap Torts back and pretend this fall never happened. Everything is inverted these days. If Sather does some brilliant trades at the end of the freeze it is proven that 2013 is upside down.

The Christmas break should do Hank some good, eat well and return with some energy and focus...I hope.
