08-09 Islanders?

Wow...

yeah last night's quote by AV was kinda telling: "I know who I'm starting, I just haven't told the goalies yet."

Talbot=Cory Schneider

So do we trade Talbot during the draft for the 9th overall pick?

It was such a relief to finally win last night. I think it would feel much better if we were 500 going in to Xmas so please win tonight.

Maybe. I don't think it's happened with the Rangers in the expansion era.

By the way, Nash is on pace for 19.5 goals.

Nice win last night, but they'll only have a chance to go 3-4-2 and get 8 out of a possible 18 points during the longest homestand of the year. And thats IF they win. Disgusting.

2-5-2 would put the icing on the cake for this homestand. I would hate to see that, especially for the fans who are going tonight but you can almost see it being a fitting end to this stretch.
Agreed homestand is a total failure

Nash is being fed too much kielbasa. Slow, heavy footed, not as strong as he should be.

He needs a diet and a rigorous fitness program. Needs to be faster, lighter on his feet, stronger.

Kielbasa is a core component of every great fitness program.

It's science.

I tried using it for mine a couple years back. I saw the results I wanted (gained 15 pounds) but unexplainably I was winded much more quickly than before.

Over rated.

Whatever might be taking Henrik off his game, the Christmas holidays, week of rest, and time to practice and watch his game on tape should help him sort some things out.

I would, yes. Backup Goalie vs top-10 pick? You take the pick.

There is always another Biron floating around somewhere.

He's starting to look like a pyle for sure. It's certainly not a private pyle however since we can all see it every game.
