Is it weird that my company has a 'Parent's Day'? My office feels enough like a PlayPlace as is

Nice! Congrats.

Hour and a half left of work and then it's home to pack and relax for the night and head off to Arizona for a few days tomorrow. It'll be nice to get outta this winter hellhole for a while. Going to the Cubs game on Tuesday and might get to one other one while I'm there. One of the biggest things I miss about living in Arizona is Cactus League ball. Looking forward to some sun, baseball, and beer. Boom.

Nothing takes out a Sunday like trying to clip my dog's claws.

She's only fifty pounds, but even with sedatives it's a three person job.

Next time I'm just taking her to a groomer. Screw this noise.

Benefit of owning cats, I guess. Clipping their claws is pretty straight forward, the smaller one just jerks around slightly but is pretty easy to hold balled up to cut 'em.

Barking dogs are probably on a small list of the worst things ever.

Add in the Vancouver Canucks, and you've got yourself a list.

(I was obviously speaking in hyperbole with what I said.)

Voted No Fun Shogun but then i realized it'd probably be a pain to try and crate-train him.

Dogs all the way all day every day in every way

I'm considering getting a small, pocket sized camera. Something that uses actual film too. Deciding if getting one would pass through my "I hate hipsters so freaking much" membrane though.

Sony RX100II is probably the best point and shoot. I have one and love it. There are really no lens interchangeable ones that fit in the pocket. And none that shoot both film and digital. What are you looking to use it for? I do photog on the side. I have Sony/Olympus 4/3 and Leica M system. Used to photo nature a lot but that did not satisfy my artistic side so I moved to other areas that are more fun.

I'm mainly looking for something that'll give me the best possible bathroom-selfies

I like the idea of taking pictures of things. Nothing specific at all, and I know absolutely nothing about photography. I'll probably PM you with some more questions/details if that'd be cool
